Sexual Attraction as per astrology

Astrological indications for sexual attraction:

Things to look for in Synastry:

Here we focus on indications of sexual attraction using Astrology as our tool. In this article, we are not discussing long-term compatibility between the sexes--rather, indications of initial sexual attraction and knee-jerk reactions between two people.

Indications of Sexual Attraction:

When somebody's Mars falls in your 5th house, heart-pounding reactions and strong romantic/sexual desires and crushes can be activated. You WANT each other, although the attraction may not last long unless there are other stable aspects and positions in your synastry.

When somebody's Mars falls in your 8th house, that person inspires deep sexual urges and physical desires in you.

A conjunction of someone's Mars to any angle (that is, the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven-10th cusp, or IC - 4th cusp) in your natal chart will pull out gut reactions and intensity of desire--although the feelings can go either way.

Mars-Sun conjunctions, squares, and oppositions usually inspire a need to make the relationship physical and generate a sort of "buzz" of energy between the two people involved. Trines generate some physical attraction, but of a more pleasant kind.

Venus-Mars conjunctions and squares can inspire quite a bit of fuss and sexual interest, while Venus-Mars sextiles and trines offer a more pleasing, less in-your-face attraction.

Venus-Pluto conjunctions, squares, and oppositions are one of the most potent cross-aspects for sexual and emotional attraction. Although both people are generally attracted to each other, it is the Venus person who is the most enthralled and even obsessed with Pluto—Venus is consumed with the attraction. Ultimately, it is the Pluto person who has the upper hand in terms of whether the relationship is going to endure.

Moon-Mars aspects can generate strong feelings that are often both physical and emotional at once, with the Mars person involved taking most of the initiative in the relationship, which can be very attractive to the Moon person (at least at the outset of the relationship).

Venus-Uranus conjunctions and squares can generate so much interest to the point of enthrallment, and often result in sexual activity between people before they know each other well. This can be a confusing and destabilizing contact in the long term, but these aspects generally inspire initial attraction. When these relationships last, the Uranus person is often seen as inconstant by the Venus person and there can be many ups and downs.

Mars-Pluto conjunctions and squares are often powerful indicators of initial attraction and sexual intrigue. Trines don't necessarily draw people together, but once together, they are some of the most powerfully sexual aspects between two charts.

Ascendant-Ascendant conjunctions, sextiles, and trines, while not as strong as the indicators above, give a pleasing sense of physical harmony.

When someone's 8th house planet or ruler of their 8th house forms a strong aspect with one or more of your planets, you are likely to ignite passion in that person.

Sun & Moon Elements

I have tried to create a brief classification of people’s predominant modes of activity, according to their solar and lunar element, as the Sun and the Moon are two of the most important single factors in a horoscope. The idea came to be in a flash, and although it certainly has its weaknesses, it seemed original enough for me to write it down and give it some thought. So here it goes:

As a general rule we will say that the Sun represents a powerful conscious drive. The main drive of the Sun when placed in a fiery sign is to act according to what is wanted or needed in the moment; when placed in a water sign, the main drive is to feel and perceive; the main drive of the Sun in an air sign is to analyze and communicate; and the earthy Sun’s drive is to work to turn anything wanted into reality.

The element of the sign in which the Moon is placed provides a new quality to this drive. Thus, the Moon provides intuition and sensitiveness when positioned in a water sign, and the desire to internally experience the Sun’s drive. The Moon placed in a fire sign provides passion and self-confidence; the Moon placed in an air sign provides analytical thought and discrimination. Finally, the Moon in an earth sign gives pragmatism and the desire to materialize. The lunar element’s tendencies can serve the solar drive or subtly dominate it, or even both, depending on each particular combination.

The following are all the possible Sun and Moon combinations, together with a brief description of my own making. My purpose is not to state anything categorically, of course, but to suggest possible tendencies, and always relating to modes of activity: the basic way in which people proceed in life. Needless to say, the definitive mode of action will depend on other factors in the chart, and on the signs involved (for example, Cancer-Aries is not the same as Cancer-Sagittarius if one goes into detail).

I have added the aspect relations between the signs involved in each combination; perhaps it holds a key to this matter.

Sun in a water sign—Moon in a fire sign

Cancer-Aries, Cancer-Leo, Cancer-Sagittarius, Scorpio-Aries, Scorpio-Leo, Scorpio-Sagittarius, Pisces-Aries, Pisces-Leo, Pisces-Sagittarius.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They feel and act upon what they have felt, often impulsively and without rational consideration. They feel and experience almost at the same time. It’s a volatile combination, but one highly creative. The keywords are inspiration and vision.

Sun in a water sign—Moon in an air sign

Cancer-Gemini, Cancer-Libra, Cancer-Aquarius, Scorpio-Gemini, Scorpio-Libra, Scorpio-Aquarius, Pisces-Gemini, Pisces-Libra, Pisces-Aquarius.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They feel to later analyze and communicate their emotions rationally, trying to make thought and feeling coincide or complement each other, pathos and logos. This pair can experience strong contradictions when trying to solve inner problems, but when properly channeled it can come up with very valuable synthesis of its own personality. The keyword is comprehend.

Sun in a water sign—Moon in an earth sign

Cancer-Taurus, Cancer-Virgo, Cancer-Capricorn, Scorpio-Taurus, Scorpio-Virgo, Scorpio-Capricorn, Pisces-Taurus, Pisces-Virgo, Pisces-Capricorn.

Aspects: sextile, opposition.

They feel to later act upon what they have felt, but unlike the water-fire combination they try to materialize what they feel. The tendency is to feel and later relate those feelings with material and tangible factors of life. In any case, action must bring something from the inner emotional world to everyday life. The keywords are capture and express.

Sun in a water sign—Moon in a water sign

Cancer-Cancer, Cancer-Scorpio, Cancer-Pisces, Scorpio-Cancer, Scorpio-Scorpio, Scorpio-Pisces, Pisces-Cancer, Pisces-Scorpio, Pisces-Pisces.

Aspects: conjunction, trine.

They feel to keep on feeling. Double emphasis on the traits of intuition, sympathy, understanding and subtlety of the emotions. Highly sensitive towards they own feelings and those of others. The mode of activity is defined by other elements in the horoscope, but it is definitely focused towards emotions and impressions. The keyword is pathos.

Sun in a fire sign—Moon in a water sign

Aries-Cancer, Aries-Scorpio, Aries-Pisces, Leo-Cancer, Leo-Scorpio, Leo-Pisces, Sagittarius-Cancer, Sagittarius-Scorpio, Sagittarius-Pisces.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

The essence of fire’s activity is something very hard to define in a word, as "it is necessary [for oneself] to be intensity without knowing it" (Bachelard). Fire’s essence cannot be crystallized without destroying it; it could be called eagerness, confidence, creativity, will. Thus, this combination wants and acts (will) to later feel upon what it wants. Both tendencies work almost at the same time, and as a result acting is constantly influenced by feeling and vice versa. The key word is passion.

Sun in a fire sign—Moon in an air sign

Aries-Gemini, Aries-Libra, Aries-Aquarius, Leo-Gemini, Leo-Libra, Leo-Aquarius, Sagittarius-Gemini, Sagittarius-Libra, Sagittarius-Aquarius.

Aspects: sextile, opposition.

They want and act to later analyze and communicate what they have done. The rational quality (often absent in fire) here comes after action, helping in the process of learning from one’s mistakes. An extremely active and energetic combination, it has little stability and is not always able to fulfill its wishes, even though it has both passion and the ability to plan. The key word is enthusiasm.

Sun in a fire sign—Moon in an earth sign

Aries-Taurus, Aries-Virgo, Aries-Capricorn, Leo-Taurus, Leo-Virgo, Leo-Capricorn, Sagittarius-Taurus, Sagittarius-Virgo, Sagittarius-Capricorn.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They want and act to later work and ensure the realization of their desires. It is an ideal combination for materializing wishes and plans. However, a certain degree of tension can arise when fire’s impulsive and impatient nature meets earth’s natural stability and caution. The key word is tenacity.

Sun in a fire sign—Moon in a fire sign

Aries-Aries, Aries-Leo, Aries-Sagittarius, Leo-Aries, Leo-Leo, Leo-Sagittarius, Sagittarius-Aries, Sagittarius-Leo, Sagittarius-Sagittarius.

Aspects: conjunction, trine.

Wants and acts to keep on wanting and acting. Double emphasis on courage and passion for things, self-confidence and impulsiveness. A combination full of creativity and energy, although the traits of analysis and empathy must come from other factors in the chart. The key word is will.

Sun in an air sign—Moon in a water sign

Gemini-Cancer, Gemini-Scorpio, Gemini-Pisces, Libra-Cancer, Libra-Scorpio, Libra-Pisces, Aquarius-Cancer, Aquarius-Scorpio, Aquarius-Pisces.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They analyze to later feel what they thought of. They attempt to provide an intuitive base for their ideas and thoughts, creating some inner conflict but also interesting outlooks and schemes. Though it is similar to the water-air combination, the articulation between logos and pathos in this one is focused outwardly instead of inwardly. Communication gains an emotive touch. The keyword is quest.

Sun in an air sign—Moon in a fire sign

Gemini-Aries, Gemini-Leo, Gemini-Sagittarius, Libra-Aries, Libra-Leo, Libra- Sagittarius, Aquarius-Aries, Aquarius-Leo, Aquarius-Sagittarius.

Aspects: sextile, opposition.

They analyze to later act upon what has been reasoned. The ability to communicate, common in the airy element, becomes stronger and more impetuous thanks to fire. There is a constant feedback between intelligence and passion, between ideas and will. The energy here is also abundant, though mainly directed towards intellectual products and their diffusion to the world. The key words are agility and keenness.

Sun in an air sign—Moon in an earth sign

Gemini-Taurus, Gemini-Virgo, Gemini-Capricorn, Libra-Taurus, Libra-Virgo, Libra-Capricorn, Aquarius-Taurus, Aquarius-Virgo, Aquarius-Capricorn.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They analyze to later make their thoughts come to reality. This pair more than any other tries to give a material shape to its ideas and opinions. Communication tends to the tangible, the analogy with writing in relation to mental concepts being very accurate. An excellent combination for explaining the abstract by bringing it "down to earth", and thus making it accessible to others. The keywords are crystallize and explain.

Sun in an air sign—Moon in an air sign

Gemini-Gemini, Gemini-Libra, Gemini-Aquarius, Libra-Gemini, Libra-Libra, Libra-Aquarius, Aquarius-Gemini, Aquarius-Libra, Aquarius-Aquarius.

Aspects: conjunction, trine.

They analyze to communicate and keep on analyzing. Double emphasis on the faculties of reasoning, abstraction, and exposition. The rational mind rules over intuition or passion, and the perseverance to achieve one’s own plans must come from other factors in the horoscope. The keyword is logos.

Sun in an earth sign—Moon in a water sign

Taurus-Cancer, Taurus-Scorpio, Taurus-Pisces, Virgo-Cancer, Virgo-Scorpio, Virgo-Pisces, Capricorn-Cancer, Capricorn-Scorpio, Capricorn-Pisces.

Aspects: sextile, opposition.

They do and work to later feel upon what’s done. Emotions and feelings have a considerable influence on earth’s material labors. Intuition follows action, and thus pleasing or disturbing feelings come after everything’s finished, determining what will be done next. The sense of security is reinforced, both in the emotional and material areas. Earth’s patience and water’s sensitiveness blend and are channeled into work. The keyword is dedication.

Sun in an earth sign—Moon in a fire sign

Taurus-Aries, Taurus-Leo, Taurus-Sagittarius, Virgo-Aries, Virgo-Leo, Virgo-Sagittarius, Capricorn-Aries, Capricorn-Leo, Capricorn-Sagittarius.

Aspects; semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They do and work to feel alive. The fruits of personal effort help to keep their confidence healthy and give them new strength to go on working. This combination blends fire’s passion with earth’s steadfastness, resulting in superb talents for making wishes come true, especially egocentric and personal wishes such as power, success, etc. Fire’s spark helps to get things going again when earth shows its streak of pessimism. The key word is conviction.

Sun in an earth sign—Moon in an air sign

Taurus-Gemini, Taurus-Libra, Taurus-Aquarius, Virgo-Gemini, Virgo-Libra, Virgo-Aquarius, Capricorn-Gemini, Capricorn-Libra, Capricorn-Aquarius.

Aspects: semisextile, square, inconjunct.

They do and work to analyze what’s done. In the air-earth combination, the latter laid the foundations needed to materialize ideas; in this one, air provides a logical reason for things done and is in charge of analyzing their meaning. Planning skills are directed towards the pragmatic. A hallmark of this pair is common sense. Earth’s usual prudence can clash with air’s impatience, resulting in some stress concerning times and expectations. The keyword is sufficiency.

Sun in an earth sign—Moon in an earth sign

Taurus-Taurus, Taurus-Virgo, Taurus-Capricorn, Virgo-Taurus, Virgo-Virgo, Virgo-Capricorn, Capricorn-Taurus, Capricorn-Virgo, Capricorn-Capricorn.

Aspects: conjunction, trine.

They do and work to keep on working. Double emphasis on the qualities of pragmatism, stability, endurance and perseverance. The potential for doing what’s necessary to obtain what one wants is at its highest here, but the passion, feeling and planning needed to start have to come from other factors in the chart. The keyword is work.

Mercury

For the newcomer, and even for experienced astrologers, the question of which astrological house system to use is a vexed and often complicated one.

Two of the most important factors in any astrological chart are the Ascendant and the Midheaven. The angle of the Ascendant shows the degree of the zodiac that is visible just on the horizon at the moment of birth. The Midheaven (MC) indicates the degree that is highest in the sky above the horizon at the place of birth.

Obviously, these two angles differ considerably depending upon where the birth takes place. Exactly on the equator, nights are always 12 hours long; the Ascendant is always square (at 90 degrees) to the MC. But the further north or south you go, the more slanted the MC is to the Ascendant - people in northern Scotland, for example, experience very long winter nights and very short summer nights. In such a case, the MC is clearly not literally square the Ascendant. How can this be shown accurately through the astrological house system - and does it matter if it is not? To answer this, we first need to consider a little of the history of the concept of astrological houses.

Astrological house systems are generally used as a way of taking the environment into account in judging a natal chart. Each house 'deals with' a specific sphere of life, and planets and points within that house are thought to express themselves especially in matters related to that house.

The very first astronomers were in fact court astrologers by trade, and astronomers as a hobby (how times change...). These ancient astrologers had devised a division of the zodiac called mundane division in order to study how a specific personality (shown by the signs and planets) would deal with the environment in which it found itself. Claudius Ptolemy discussed in great detail the problems of house divisions, and the experiences covered by each house.

Hence some house systems are thousands of years old; others maybe only thirty. This diversity is one of the main points of contention between astrologers themselves. All systems are astronomically valid, but their standpoints vary, and therefore so do the degrees at which the houses fall. Many astrologers are even unaware of the conceptual differences in the various house systems, and tend to stick rigidly to the one which they were taught. This is understandable - calculating different house divisions by hand is very laborious and long-winded, and even today with computer software available, the busy astrologer usually has other more pressing matters to attend to.

How then does an astrologer choose a house system? Well, the individual studying alone is more than likely to use Placidus Houses. The reason for this is simple - he has to consult an ephemeris in any case, and Raphael's Ephemeris is the most widely used, which gives the information needed for Placidus Houses.

Students who study with a recognised school are usually introduced to all of the house systems, but taught to use one far more than the others. This is usually the Equal House system, which incidentally is also the oldest one. In this house system, the twelve divisions are very much like spokes of a wheel, equally spaced at 30 degree intervals, with all houses being the same size. This is the easiest of the House systems to use, as it requires no further calculation. Once the Ascendant is known, one simply divides the rest of the chart using the Ascending degree as a starting point - so if the Ascendant is at 22 degrees Leo, this is take as the cusp of the first house, with the second house beginning at 22 degrees Virgo, the third at 22 degrees Libra and so forth.

The Equal House system is conceptually valid within today's astrological standpoint that every individual is free to become what their birth chart symbolises as their ultimate talent. The Ascendant has been shown to correspond to the way the person automatically approaches their environment - the 'persona' in Jungian terms. This person is therefore likely to approach every field of life in a specific way. A person with an Aquarius Ascendant, for example, will approach money-making and material values (2nd house) in a Pisces manner, will learn (3rd house) in an Aries manner, deal with family (4th house) in a Taurus manner and so forth.

The biggest criticism of the Equal House system concerns the position of the MC, which, using this system is more often than not not the cusp of the tenth house (or any house) but rather is found within the 9th, 10th or 11th house.

The MC, being the highest point at birth, symbolises the aims and ambitions one works towards, and, by extension, one's career potential and public image. But these areas are also 10th house matters, devised, because of that house's association with Saturn, to show precisely these areas of life. It is therefore conceptually necessary (so goes the argument) that the MC be the cusp of the 10th house. For this reason, the Equal House system has a limited following outside the UK, although it is still the commonest House system within the UK.

What of all the other house systems, then? Why are their house divisions so irregular? On what basis are they calculated? It all depends on how the astrologer perceives the environment, and therefore on what astronomical planes of measurement are used to divide the celestial sphere into 12 houses.

It is important to understand that even though the house cusps are irregular in these other systems, the space they represent is regular. This is because although the chart is presented on flat paper, it is in fact a three dimensional sphere. The twelve equal divisions of that sphere fall onto the paper at irregular places (think of the segments of an orange falling onto the table), depending on how slanted the sphere is to that piece of paper. The slant of the sphere depends upon what astronomical co-ordinates are being used to cut the sphere, and this in turn depends on what is considered important in the environment.

Johannes Campanus, chaplain to the 13th century Pope Urban IV, was a noted mathematician. He realised the astrological necessity to have the four angles as cusps of the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses, as well as the mathematical necessity to have houses of equal space. He therefore linked the division to the astronomical equivalents of the four cardinal points (the Meridian going through the north and south points of the horizon and the Prime Vertical going through the east and west points of the horizon). These planes are then linked to the geographical position and latitude of birth, hence this house system produces cusps which are the most apparently irregular in size.

For someone born above the Polar circle, 66 degrees north, drawing some of the houses would be mathematically impossible. However, if working on the chart of, say, a northern farmer or fisherman then this house system may more accurately represent his life than some others. For instance, being so close to the land, it would be conceivably accurate for him to have very large 2nd and 8th houses as he struggles to make a living, which would be much more important to him than social entertainment or creative activities (very small 5th and 11th houses).

The Regiomantus system was devised by a 14th century professor of astronomy, Johannes Muller, and was meant to be an improvement on the Campanus system. This system uses the Equator and the horizon as the two planes cutting the sphere, and since the Equator is at most 23.5 degrees from the ecliptic, house cusps are much more regular. Conceptually, the individual is contained within an environment linked to the Earth's movement around the Sun. Much used on the continent, the Regiomantus system could be argued to be very appropriate to use for someone who has lived in the same place all their lives, and to whom then the Earth-Sun links are very valid.

The Placidus and Koch systems have a different conceptual basis, that of time systems. Placidus de Tito, a 17th century monk and mathematician devised a system dividing the time it takes the Ascendant to become the MC. His system became widespread only in the 19th century when adopted by Raphael's ephemeris. It could be argued that the natural approach to life, as shown by the Ascendant, moves through time as the person grows and develops. This notion would seem to fit most people world-wide, and goes some way (together with Raphael's) to explaining the popularity of the Placidus system today.

The Birth Place Method was devised by Dr Koch in 1971. It also uses the notion of a plane of time, but this time sweeping down from the MC to the Ascendant, and more closely linked to the horizon. The MC is therefore considered the most important point, as well as the local geographical environment. The MC here is linked to ego, and to who one is and what one wants to become. Naturally this emphasises individual freedom and free will, and therefore this system is very popular in the US amongst astro-psychologists. When working with the chart of someone who has been lucky enough to have the freedom to become who they want, this system would seem eminently suitable.

With modern computerised calculations, it has become far easier for the astrologer to experiment with different house systems. In the future, tailoring the house system to the client's own needs and environment is likely to become much more common place, as the ways in which different systems fit different people is gradually more and more understood. In time, as client awareness of astrology goes, those with the knowledge may even be asked to choose for themselves which system they would prefer.

Astrology used properly can be shown to be a first class psychological tool. Experimentation with different house systems in order to find the one that best 'fits' the individual's own environmental circumstances, can only make it more accurate in its predictive abilities too.

The Choice is Yours!

Despite all the spiritual masters who have existed on this planet, despite all the religions we have and the holy books available to us, humanity is still in chaos.

The reason being that we do not have many spiritual masters or people to guide us, the one's out there are mere business people cashing on the innocence of the people who are thirsty of spiritual knowledge. The truth is that majority is unaware or sleeps walking in their life.
If you are a very aware person, by awareness I mean one who can not only judge others but judge ones own self , what that means is when you say something to others at the same time you are analyzing your own words and thoughts.

So being aware! Just look around you. Look at the way the whole life functions.
One is born, suffers and dies.

Your contribution to the system is negligible unless you are born with strong Karma. than you make a change in the system for good or for worst. Parmahansa Yogananda and Hitler are good examples.

Look deeply and you will find nothing but cruelty around you. 16 kids are brutally slain by a gunmen in Scotland. Do you think it is logically fair for the creator to punish those 16 kids for their past Karma even before the innocent souls have realized what exactly karma is or destiny is!

If you have never though beyond the phrase "Survival of the fittest" in the jungle of Capitalism, In my opinion there is no difference between you and a Fox in the animal kingdom who is looking to feed itself from the "Lions Share" because one day you are going to become someone's dinner.

Is our purpose just survival? Do we really have a purpose or we are mere puppets where someone else is enjoying the show at our cost? You might find answers in the holy scripture you believe in but they are mere escapism or illusions. If you are extremely rich and suffering from some horrible disease, you have realized by now that your millions of dollars cannot buy you good health or life. A lady called me a few days ago and said that her doctor has been trying to cure her for the last 2 years and has finally reached a conclusion that as far as he can go he cannot find anything wrong with her and one of her friends suggested her to look for an astrologer. Science has its own limitations.

So frustrated from science one starts looking for answers in the spiritual world. Meditation, Hypnotism, Psychics, Astrologers, Holy men, the list is long. Here the Vultures are not wearing Stethoscopes but has a Rudrakshaka mala (garland of seeds supposed to have healing powers, found in Nepal) around him. You can call it divine Stethoscope. But his purpose is the same, stay sick so that the treatment lingers on and is more profitable.

In China Physicians are paid a salary for a group of people as long as the group is healthy. As soon as someone falls sick the payment to the doctor is stopped. The system is logical and fair. In China the doctors are not just doctors, they are astrologers too though they follow an entirely different system than the commonly practiced astrology. Phrenology (the science of body features) is very common in China. I wish the same system was followed everywhere in all the professions.

In the Western system of Medicine the person being treated is at the mercy of his Doctor and the majority of doctors are out there to make money than heal and also majority is struck on the western system of medicine and would not let their patients explore in other forms of therapies.

A few years back one of my clients was very worried as her younger son had a serious ear problem and the doctor had suggested that he must be operated as there is a block in the Ear Canal. I suggested her to get a biochemical salt called "Kali Mur" which costs around $4.95 and one can get it from a Health food store. She fed her son with just 2 tablets 3 times a day for few weeks and to her amazement when the doctor examined her sons ears after a week remarked that the block is gone and there is no infection thus no need for the operation. If you have a kid who is less than 6 years old you must keep a bottle of "Kali Mur" 30X and a bottle of "Belladonna 30X" these two remedies will keep your child away from antibiotics at such a young age.

In the above case I am glad the doctor was honest. The problem is, there is no instrument which can measure ones honesty. We have instincts but sadly we have become immune to our inner voice and we are constantly falling prey to con artists until we find the truth.

Destiny is the law of nature or the justice system. Astrology is nothing but decoding those laws so astrologers are like divine attorneys. but still blind because its their profession! As when it comes to helping a murderer, profits overlap ethics. The social structure has degraded to the point where it’s hard to draw a line between Ethics & Survival.

This whole mumbo jumbo is robbing the mankind of a very powerful asset called "Faith" we are not just loosing faith in others but in ourselves too. What is AIDS? Weakening of the immune system! What is the immune system? Faith! That the body is protected from negativity's and the failure of the immune system clearly signifies in one direction that man is loosing faith in his own self.

The course this humanity has taken, it will not survive for more than few decades. Astrologically speaking; we would be having some very negative planetary combinations in the coming 7 years. If within the next 5 years we do not straighten our acts and continue the way we are. We will have series of Natural and manmade disasters which will eliminate the life form on this planet. As our survival is directly related to what we feel about ourselves and the mother Earth.

Vedic Astrology is one science where we need research work. The secret of our well being lies in this divine science. The way this science is being abused by people who are driven by one purpose: How to have more than they have. The obsession to be on the top. Astrology has not been explored to the point where it starts helping the mankind. There are people who have dedicated their material happiness for this divine science, people like Das Goravani, by the way don't be fooled by his name he is not an Indian, this American man has dedicated years as well as his family life just to produce a software in Vedic Astrology which is a research tool in Vedic Astrology. And on the other hand there are Astrologers who are ripping off innocent people of millions of Dollars. The same is true for 95% of the psychics and their 900 lines. How these crooks trap people is very simple. Ads run like this: One question answered free or talk to a Psychic for free. This one question is nothing but the bait. The battered ends up becoming the bait.

The choice is your! Are you happy the way you are? If not, are you ready to look for the right Guide. The story does not end here. The secret not just lies in the healer or the guide but also lies with the healed or the one who is being guided because the healer is healed in the process and the guide is guided too.

Astrology In India Now a poor respects

In India, in the time of legend, there lived a king with many wives but not one child. Morning and evening for eighteen years, he faced the fire on the sacred altar and prayed for the gift of children.

Finally, a shining goddess rose from the flames.

"I am Savitri, child of the Sun. By your prayers, you have won a daughter."

Within a year, a daughter came to the king and his favorite wife. He named her Savitri, after the goddess.

Beauty and intelligence was the princess Savitri's, and eyes that shone like the sun. So splendid was she, people thought she herself was a goddess. Yet, when the time came for her to marry, no man asked for her.

Her father told her, "Weak men turn away from radiance like yours. Go out and find a man worthy of you. Then I will arrange the marriage."

In the company of servants and councilors, Savitri traveled from place to place. After many days, she came upon a hermitage by a river crossing. Here lived many who had left the towns and cities for a life of prayer and study.

Savitri entered the hall of worship and bowed to the eldest teacher. As they spoke, a young man with shining eyes came into the hall. He guided another man, old and blind.

"Who is that young man?" asked Savitri softly.

"That is Prince Satyavan," said the teacher, with a smile. "He guides his father, a king whose realm was conquered. It is well that Satyavan's name means 'Son of Truth,' for no man is richer in virtue."

When Savitri returned home, she found her father sitting with the holy seer named Narada.

"Daughter," said the king, "have you found a man you wish to marry?"

"Yes, father," said Savitri. "His name is Satyavan."

Narada gasped. "Not Satyavan! Princess, no man could be more worthy, but you must not marry him! I know the future. Satyavan will die, one year from today."

The king said, "Do you hear, daughter? Choose a different husband!"

Savitri trembled but said, "I have chosen Satyavan, and I will not choose another. However long or short his life, I wish to share it."

Soon the king rode with Savitri to arrange the marriage.

Satyavan was overjoyed to be offered such a bride. But his father, the blind king, asked Savitri, "Can you bear the hard life of the hermitage? Will you wear our simple robe and our coat of matted bark? Will you eat only fruit and plants of the wild?"

Savitri said, "I care nothing about comfort or hardship. In palace or in hermitage, I am content."

That very day, Savitri and Satyavan walked hand in hand around the sacred fire in the hall of worship. In front of all the priests and hermits, they became husband and wife.

For a year, they lived happily. But Savitri could never forget that Satyavan's death drew closer.

Finally, only three days remained. Savitri entered the hall of worship and faced the sacred fire. There she prayed for three days and nights, not eating or sleeping.

"My love," said Satyavan, "prayer and fasting are good. But why be this hard on yourself?"

Savitri gave no answer.

The sun was just rising when Savitri at last left the hall. She saw Satyavan heading for the forest, an ax on his shoulder.

Savitri rushed to his side. "I will come with you."

"Stay here, my love," said Satyavan. "You should eat and rest."

But Savitri said, "My heart is set on going."

Hand in hand, Savitri and Satyavan walked over wooded hills. They smelled the blossoms on flowering trees and paused beside clear streams. The cries of peacocks echoed through the woods.

While Savitri rested, Satyavan chopped firewood from a fallen tree. Suddenly, he dropped his ax.

"My head aches," he said.

Savitri rushed to him. She laid him down in the shade of a tree, his head on her lap.

"My body is burning!" said Satyavan. "What is wrong with me?"

Satyavan's eyes closed. His breathing slowed.

Savitri looked up. Coming through the woods to meet them was a princely man. He shone, though his skin was darker than the darkest night. His eyes and his robe were the red of blood.

Trembling, Savitri asked, "Who are you?"

A deep, gentle voice replied. "Princess, you see me only by the power of your prayer and fasting. I am Yama, god of death. Now is the time I must take the spirit of Satyavan."

Yama took a small noose and passed it through Satyavan's breast, as if through air. He drew out a tiny likeness of Satyavan, no bigger than a thumb.

Satyavan's breathing stopped.

Yama placed the likeness inside his robe. "Happiness awaits your husband in my kingdom. Satyavan is a man of great virtue."

Then Yama turned and headed south, back to his domain.

Savitri rose and started after him.

Yama strode smoothly and swiftly through the woods, while Savitri struggled to keep up. At last, he stopped to face her.

"Savitri! You cannot follow to the land of the dead!"

"Lord Yama," said Savitri, "I know your duty is to take my husband. But my duty as his wife is to stay beside him."

"Princess, that duty is at an end," said Yama. "Still, I admire your loyalty. I will grant you a favor -- anything but the life of your husband."

Savitri said, "Please restore my father-in-law's kingdom and his sight."

"His sight and his kingdom shall be restored."

Yama again headed south. Savitri followed.

Along a river bank, thorns and tall sharp grass let Yama pass untouched. But they tore at Savitri's clothes and skin.

"Savitri! You have come far enough!"

"Lord Yama, I know my husband will find happiness in your kingdom. But you carry away the happiness that is mine!"

"Princess, even love must bend to fate," said Yama. "Still, I admire your devotion. I will grant you another favor -- anything but the life of your husband."

Savitri said, "Grant many more children to my father."

"Your father shall have many more children."

Yama once more turned south. Again, Savitri followed.

Up a steep hill Yama glided, while Savitri clambered after him. At the top, he halted.

"Savitri! I forbid you to come farther!"

"Lord Yama, you are respected and revered by all. Yet, no matter what may come, I will remain by Satyavan!"

"Princess, I tell you for the last time, you will not!" said Yama. "Still, I can only admire your courage and your firmness. I will grant you one last favor -- anything but the life of your husband."

"Then grant many children to _me,_" said Savitri. "And let them be children of Satyavan!"

Yama's eyes grew wide as he stared at Savitri. "You did not ask for your husband's life, yet I cannot grant your wish without releasing him. Princess! Your wit is as strong as your will."

Yama took out the spirit of Satyavan and removed the noose. The spirit flew north, quickly vanishing from sight.

"Return, Savitri. You have won your husband's life."

The sun was just setting when Savitri again laid Satyavan's head in her lap.

His chest rose and fell. His eyes opened.

"Is the day already gone? I have slept long," he said. "But what is wrong, my love? You smile and cry at the same time!"

"My love," said Savitri, "let us return home."

Yama was true to all he had promised. Savitri's father became father to many more. Satyavan's father regained both sight and kingdom.

In time, Satyavan became king, and Savitri his queen. They lived long and happily, blessed with many children. So they had no fear or tears when Yama came again to carry them to his kingdom.

KaliYug

As we come towards the end of Kaliyug (dark age) everything seems so unclear. Relationships, health, mental stability even divine grace. If you look deeply into the life you will find nothing but darkness, the only light we have at the moment seems to be coming from the picture tube of our TV. Television has become our GURU or our role model.

Whatever the TV tells us, we do. "Drink more milk" its good for you one research says, we run to the refrigerator and gulp a glass of milk, the other day the same TV tells us, milk is the number one factor for allergies and heart attacks. We become anti milk.

We have lost the inner light. It seems we have become puppets to TV, food, ego, jealousy, hatred, anger, judgment.... the list is long.

No 8 stands for Saturn and once we are locked in the patterns of the number 8, we go in circles. From 8 we can only move to 9 which is ruled by Mangal or Mars. what that means is out of this darkness there are only two directions left to us. One is of Mangal (enlightenment) and the other is of Mars or destruction as Positive Mars is spiritual growth and the negative Mars is annihilation.

A very clear explanation of darkness is majority does not know what they want from life. A great number of people who come to me are not wanting to improve their lives but just looking for answers. The dilemma is that they don’t even want my answers, they just want my co-operation to help them in the direction they want their life to go. So they come prepared with the questions as well as the answers. All they want is I should give them a way to satisfy their desires or I have some magic wand which they want me to use for their achievements. Wake up! Astrologers are not Gods. A good astrologer certainly knows as to how the divine plan works but he has not been given the power to erase and rewrite that plan for you based on your desires. All he can do is make you aware of the plan or the future and show you ways to overcome the negative time periods using the laws of nature. He is just like a roadside service for the man who is born with average karma. I am not talking about Bill Gates because if he gets in trouble on the road of Destiny, he has enough good karma to be air lifted.

So an astrologer can help you fix your flat tires but he cannot give you a new car, nor can he change the road conditions, but he can definitely guide you on what path to take to save you from pot holes. But when you go to him with an attitude of a thirsty traveler going to a well and asking when and where will I get water. I think you need to look within because you are not thirsty but being haunted by the idea of being thirsty. You cannot go to a doctor and say I have this headache every day and its because of my neighbor, pls. tell me how I can treat my neighbor. But amazingly people ask these sort of questions from astrologers.

One old man went to a travel agent, he wanted to fly to India immediately. There were no seats available on the plane for that particular day. So the travel agent said to the old man "Sir. I am sorry but you will have to go standby. The old man replied. Look son don’t you see my age I am 70 years old Do you think I can stand for 20 hours in the plane.

This is what I mean by darkness. You go to one friends house his wife is nasty, unsociable and a bad cook. You immediately start admiring your wife because the comparison has come in. Next week you go to another friends house, his wife resembles Sushmita Sen (Miss Universe), is very social, she puts Kake-da-Dhabha(Indian Restaurant) to shame. Immediately you become miserable and start thinking about that unlucky day when you got married with your wife. It seems you have disconnected your wires with divine cable and have bought a dish where the channels have increased and so has your confusion as to what channel is good for you. Then you go to an astrologer and ask why you are suffering.

The metal for Saturn is Iron, color is black , stone is blue sapphire or Neelam.

Diseases caused by ill placed Saturn in ones chart are paralysis, Cancer, wind, phlegm, heart pain, consumption, brights disease and all problems related to bones.

If Saturn is a benefic planet in your chart, you are guaranteed success in life on the other hand if Saturn is detrimental. It can also make people beg on the streets. That is why majority suffers during Sadhe-sati (seven of half period of Saturn.

Saturn is a teacher who rewards you or punishes you for the past negative karma’s.

My interpretation of the word KARMA is: Karmic accumulations of rags, mostly assumptions.

Numerology for Healthy Life & Relationships

Divorces are rare in countries where matchmaking is considered an integral part of a healthy society. On the other hand in the western society almost 50% of the marriages fall apart in the first few years of marriage and the rest drag, dissolve or become destructive for the couple.

You must have heard the famous proverb that “opposite attracts” In the west this rule applies to 99% of the relationships. People get attracted to the other because of opposite attracts, hence there is no compatibility among couples. On the other hand in India falling in love with a person before marriage is still considered a taboo, majority of the couples are matched based on their horoscopes and body features.

Ok! Let’s keep astrology on the side and let’s forget about body features. What about numbers, Numerology plays such an important role in our lives that one can become a millionaire with playing the right numbers or can lose million in the stock market, no wonder 9-11 turned into an emergency for the whole nation.

I will give you one secret from the science of numerology and it will amaze you for the rest of your life.

The number 4 and 7 are enemies to each other. Now if you are one of those people who are born on the following dates:

4, 14, 24 or in the month of April or in the years starting or ending with a 4 i.e. 40's or 54, 64, 74 and so on

You will be highly incompatible with the person who is born on the following dates:

7, 17, 27 or in the month of July or in the 70's or in the years ending with a 7 i.e. 37, 47, 57, 67 and so on.

If you have a 4 or 7 in your birthday and someone you know and love has the opposite number in their birth dates you will have problems in relationships with this person. If you end up marrying this person you are asking for trouble in the coming years.

There are tons of secrets in Numerology, Astrology and the Science of Body Features that one can use to find the best possible match for a healthy relationship and for a long and happy married life.

This will surprise you again: In Vedic Astrology couples are matched on a 36-point system and some of the areas we cover are:

 The karmic sex of the person (You could be born in a male body but as far as karma goes you could be a female locked in a male body or vice versa).

 Personal Magnetism

 Mind Compatibility

 Karmic Compatibility

 Ayurvedic Doshas

 The animal traits in a person

 Whether the person belongs to the Angle, Human or Devil group

 Financial Prosperity

 Longevity of the marriage

 Potential to bear kids
And so on.

When we do a compatibility analysis we make sure that the couple gets at least 18 out of 36 points in order for the marriage to survive.

Numbers are an integral part of our lives; according to the laws of karma, even our breaths are numbered. From paupers to preachers, all live by numbers. If you are feeling lucky, playing those six lucky numbers in the lottery can make you into a millionaire. If you are short on luck, however, you could lose it all gambling, in business or in stocks on Wall Street.

While 7 are considered lucky by the majority, 13 is considered unlucky. Christians consider 666 to be the number of the Devil. In Islam 786 is taken as a godly number that brings luck. If we add 786 to 666, they add up to 1434; when we add 1+4+3+4, we get 12 and 1+2=3. When we subtract 666 from 786, they come to 102; when we add 1+2, the answer is 3. In a nutshell: whether we add or subtract the devil's number to God's number, we end up with 3. The number 3 belongs to the planet Jupiter and stands for all matters related to spirituality. If we go little deeper both positive and negative draw energies from the supreme consciousness to spread good or evil in the world.

In Vedic numerology there are 9 planets and 9 numbers, each number assigned to each planet. Sun=1; Moon=2; Jupiter=3; Rahu=4; Mercury=5; Venus=6; Ketu=7; Saturn=8; Mars=9.

It is no surprise that because Sun stands for power, 1 does, too. Look within and you will find that all your longings, passions and cravings are number 1 in this world, whether your goal is to be the president or the preacher.

Moon's number is 2. Our minds are controlled by the Moon and it's dual nature—no wonder Moon changes every second.

Jupiter is 3 and again it is no surprise that the basis of all religions is dependent on the number 3. Christianity has the trinity, the union of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost into one Godhead. Hinduism has Bramha, Vishnu and Mahesh—the Creator, Protector and Destroyer, respectively. Even the symbol for Aum is an offshoot of the number 3.

Number 4 belongs to Rahu. Rahu is a Cruel and represents cruelty.

Number 5 belongs to Mercury, the planet of intellect.

Number 6 belongs to Venus and stands for love and beauty.

Number 7 belongs to Ketu. The nature of Ketu is to be mysterious.

Number 8 belongs to Saturn, a teacher and the king of darkness & death.

Number 9 belongs to Mars, the controller of fire, blood, bloodshed and wars.

Of all these numbers Moon and Mercury play the most major role in our lives? When Moon and Mercury become afflicted while transiting the zodiac, the majority goes through a turbulent time. Most of the electrical failures happen when Mercury is retrograde or in an unfavorable position on the zodiac and it will be fair to blame the Mercury for air crashes. If people at NASA start using higher mathematics (Astrology) we would not be losing astronauts and space shuttles. Why? Moon stands for the mind and Mercury stands for the intellect and what is intellect: Intellect is the electronic circuitry within the mind or the electronic circuit within a watch or a computer or a space shuttle. When the mind (Moon) and intellect (Mercury) come under the influence of negative forces we experience nothing but chaos.

The following data will give you goose bumps and is proof enough as to how planets and numbers control our lives.

On 9/11/2001, when America was attacked by terrorists, the day was 11 (1+1=2) and the total of the day's number was 14: 9-11-2001 (9+1+1+2+1=14). When 1 and 4 are added, the answer is 5. As you can see, the number 2 (Moon) and 5 (Mercury) played a major role in the events of September 11.

Here is some other data to check:

September 11 is the 254th day of the year: 2+5+4=11. The Twin Towers, standing side by side, look like the number 11. The first plane to hit the Towers was Flight 11. New York was the 11th state added to the Union. There are 11 letters in "New York City" "Afghanistan" "The Pentagon" and "Ramzi Yousef" (who was convicted for orchestrating the attack on the WTC in 1993). Flight 11 (1+1=2) had 92 passengers on board (9+2=11). Flight 77 (7+7=14 and 1+4=5) had 65 passengers on board (6+5=11).

Here is another eye opener: when America dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, killing millions of people, the bomber used was a B-29 (B=2 and when we add 2+2+9=13 and 1+3=4; 4 belongs to Rahu and stands for cruelty). The day was August 8, 1945, when we add (8+8+1+9+4+5=35 which adds to 8) now 8 stands for the planet Saturn which is the planet of Death and also a teacher. Conclusion: Death by cruelty. It is no surprise that Rahu and Ketu (karmic planets in Vedic astrology) were in the same position (Gemini and Saggitarius) as they were on September 11, 2001.

Please allow me to pull the rug from under your logical mindset by making you aware of these harsh karmic mathematics:

America drops an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945 that killed millions of innocent civilians.

America is attacked in 2001.

Subtracting 1945 from 2001 gives us 56. When we add 5+6 the answer is 11. 1+1=2.

Though destroying the Taliban and attempting to kill Bin Laden is good karma, dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and killing innocent civilians was bad karma. Karma is a higher mathematics. The universal databank keeps track of the karmic balance of every life form in the cosmos. Vedic astrology, phrenology, palmistry, numerology and all other occult sciences are the tools to decode and understand this higher mathematics.

If we can match the right people on the planet we will have nothing but harmony in the coming future.

Can the future be changed?

Past has set and we still have to see the sunrise of the future.
We always live either in the past or in the future because in the present it is very dark. But we fail to realize that in this present cave of darkness, somewhere we have the key which would open the doors to Light.

If we look deeply into the human life, each one of us is looking for tomorrow. Every day when we wake up we have a new hope for the day. We always look forward for a better tomorrow. Even a beggar suffering from disease hopes for a better future. Such is the power of hope. If hope is taken away from humanity we will not be able to live for long.

People do not fall sick because of diseases, they fall sick because there is a lack of hope. Hope is the king of all therapies & all medicines.

Why do you go to an Astrologer? To find Hope and Direction. When we are doing everything right and still we do not get results we want to know the answers.

Our present life is the outcome of our past actions and our future would be the result of what we do in our present. When our present is happy we never go to an Astrologer to ask when we are going to have a rough time or how we can have disharmony. We always ask questions like when I would be financially, mentally or physically in good condition. We always worry about our future, but we never care about our past.

Many times I have been asked can future be changed. My answer to you is a big YES!
